Linde Safety Day Program

 

 

Linde’s 2014 Safety Day Program was held on February 25, 2014 at the Woodlands Inn.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Linde employees gathered in the Grand Ballroom and prepared to hear Safety Information from our featured speakers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Safety Director, Ed Bernard welcomed everyone and gave the opening remarks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brody Webster, of Cabot Oil & Gas was the first speaker. He elaborated on Cabot’s Environmental and Safety Expectations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bryan Adkins, Lead E & C Safety Representative from Williams Midstream spoke on the Safety Expectations and Culture at Williams.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Linde’s own Joe Ciampi, Site Safety Supervisor  addressed the assembly on Pre-Planning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Site Safety Supervisor at Linde, George Sprague addressed the issue of Safety Observation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eugene DiVizio, Safety Director of PAWC explained his company’s expectations on Shoring and Other Safety Concerns.

 

 

 

 

 

Jim Hoover, PAWC’s director of Field Operations gave his company’s expectations of Customer Service and also spoke on Job Completion, Inspections and Paperwork.

 

 

 

 

 

 

From UGI we had Tod Williams, Safety Manager, and Eric Swartley, Damage Prevention Coordinator, speak on UGI Construction Safety.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Will Southerland, Construction Foreman, from Access Midstream, covered the topic of Pipeline Construction Safety.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Emergency Response was covered by Paul Johnson, Assistant Director of Public Safety and EMS Coordinator of Susquehanna County.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Larry Lauynas of Counseling and Wellness Services covered the topic of Substance Abuse.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bob McGraw, Chris Langel and Paul Fedor of Linde gave an overview of the past year and wrapped up our program with Service Awards,
