These photographs are also from Susquehanna county. They show two of the steps in laying 10” gathering lines over tricky terrain. There are examples of welding pipe and setting valves, frequent and crucial steps in laying the 50+ miles of pipeline which Linde is working on in the Marcellus region.
Since 2009, Linde Corporation has laid more than 50 miles of gas pipeline throughout the region. This includes approximately 10 miles of directional bores, which go under roads, mountains, streams, wetlands and other environmentally sensitive areas. Trenchless technology is crucial in this region. The photos below are from various points along a multi-mile project and demonstrate Linde’s range of abilities from clearing to restoration and all steps in between.
