Brian Striefsky is a Project Superintendent in Linde’s Gas & Water Division. Brian coordinates specifics on Marcellus-related jobs, directing foremen to get each project finished. Brian says, “With the manpower invested in Marcellus there is lots of work, which means lots of hours. The uneven terrain where we work requires more concentration, more paperwork and many more safety meetings.” Brian joined Linde in 1995 when the company was laying pipe through his hometown of Forest City. “I applied as a laborer and loader operator and they put me to work 2 hours later,” he laughs. “Within four months I was a pipeline foreman and in 2010 they made me a super. There are lots of opportunities with Linde. We have the equipment. Now we need experienced operators who can handle the work.”
