22ND ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER

October 25, 2012 It was a night to shine for the Pennsylvania Environmental Council’s Northeast Regional Office. This dinner is the PEC’s only fund-raising event each year, and this year it was attended by hundreds at the Woodlands Resort, including a full table from Linde Corporation.

The PEC awards dinner annually recognizes the individuals and organizations who are working to protect and preserve our precious natural resources across the state. The PEC’s Northeast Regional Office serves 16 counties, including Bradford, Carbon, Columbia, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Pike, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming. Attending the dinner itself is a “must” for state and local business leaders, environmental activists and politicians of every persuasion.

Environmental protection, particularly water quality, is close to the heart of Linde President Scott Linde. He has been active in the careful stewardship of our regional rivers and streams for more than 25 years. It is no surprise that Scott has been an advocate and supporter of the PEC since its inception more than 2 decades ago.

MISSION STATEMENT
The Pennsylvania Environmental Council (PEC) protects and restores the natural and built environments through innovation, collaboration, education and advocacy. PEC believes in the value of partnerships with the private sector, government, communities and individuals to improve the quality of life for all Pennsylvanians.
