Linde “Spin to Win” Wheel a Winner at the Cabot Community Picnic
It grows bigger every year. July 22nd was the 4th Annual Cabot Community Picnic, held again at the Harford Fair Grounds in Susquehanna County. This year the event attracted a crowd of over 8,000, which means it has doubled in size in just two years!
Crowds came for food and drinks served free by several of the companies on hand. Photo courtesy Northeast Driller .
Cabot was there with its own compressed natural gas (CNG) display. In a few years, compressed natural gas will be common in the US; it was born right in this region. Photo courtesy Northeast Driller .
Linde is one of dozens of companies who do business with Cabot Oil & Gas and many firms were there, manning informational booths while explaining their services and meeting the public. Photo courtesy Northeast Driller .
For the third year in a row, Linde Corporation rolled out our “Spin to Win” Wheel, and it was a hit! People started lining up at 11:30—a half hour before the Cabot Picnic even began. Folks spun the wheel and every spin—was a win! Linde gave away hats, T-shirts, tote bags, frisbees, mugs, drink ‘cuzzis, pens and keychain flashlights. The “Spin to Win” line was 40 people deep the entire day!
Linde also wanted something else for the many kids there, and face-painting was a natural choice.
The face-painting line got so long so fast that Irene jumped in to help Ali paint every face—free—for more than four hours.
By the end of the Cabot Community Picnic Linde gave away hundreds of “Spin to Win” prizes.
Irene and Ali painted over 150 faces and helped make many happy friends.
